Welcome, Natalie!

Architecture Advantage recently welcomed Natalie to our team as a Technician based out of our St. Paul office.

Natalie received her Bachelor of Architecture from Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture. While in school, she worked at an architecture firm developing architectural drawings for residential buildings in the city. Additionally, she held several internships, including one with the Architectural Bureau in France. Natalie said, “In building design, the most important [thing] for me is the people who will be using this building, so I always put their needs, convenience and safety first in my projects.”

Outside of work, Natalie enjoys spending time in nature and hiking, as well as experiencing different cultures and ways of life through travel.

Storytelling has always been at the forefront of what I love to do, whether it was directing short plays with my sister when we were little, writing and producing them during my time at the University of Minnesota, or going behind the camera to capture my travels in adulthood. Now, in marketing, not only do I get to continue to tell stories, but I have the opportunity to connect with a larger audience. Evaluating social media data and using the information to develop strategies and determine how to tell a story provides a unique challenge that I love taking on every day. I never imagined that I would end up applying my marketing background to the architecture and engineering industry, but it pushes me to think outside of the box and find new ways to put the pieces of the story together.

Natalie Sahalo

My journey in architecture began at Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture, where I obtained my Bachelor's degree. Simultaneously with studying, I worked at an architectural company in Ukraine, where I developed architectural drawings of residential buildings in Kyiv. Always trying to find new experience in this industry, I did a lot of different internships including one of them that was in the architectural bureau in France. In building design, the most important for me is the people who will use the building, so I always put their needs, convenience and safety first in my projects.Beyond work, I enjoy hiking amidst the mountains or simply immersing myself in nature's embrace, as well as exploring different cultures through travel. I have an immense love for dogs, and for animals in general. Additionally, I like dancing, I'm not very good at it, but enjoy it anyway.
