Our Hiring Process

Our hiring approach is intentionally designed to be authentic, inclusive, and grounded in advocacy – for our candidates, our team, and the communities we serve. Throughout the process, we apply equity, diversity, and inclusion (EDI) best practices to support fairness, clarity, and consistency at every stage. Below is an overview of what you can expect when applying to work with us.
APPLICATION REVIEW
Applications are reviewed with care and intention. Our evaluation focuses on skills, experience, potential, and alignment with the role—while recognizing that great candidates come from many paths and backgrounds.
We value transerfable skills, diverse perspectives, and lived experience, and we encourage candidates to apply even if they do not meet every listed qualification.
INITIAL CONVERSATION
Selected candidates are invited to a short introductory conversation, typically held in person or virtually. This step is designed to be approachable and conversational.
During this discussion, we aim to learn more about your background and interests while sharing information about the role, our team and culture, and our work. There is also time for conversation and questions so expectations are clear on both sides.
INTERVIEWS
Candidates who advance will participate in one or two interviews with team members they would work closely with. Interview questions will be sent ahead of time and are consistent and role-based to support equitable evaluation.
FINAL DISCUSSION & COMMUNICATION
We approach hiring decisions thoughtfully and strive to communicate clearly and promptly. All candidates who participate in interviews will receive follow-up communication, regardless of the outcome.
While timelines may vary by role, most hiring processes take approximately 3-5 weeks from application to decision. We will keep candidates informed if timelines change.
