Growing up, I never imagined I would end up in the world of architecture and construction—and honestly, calling it the best thing that’s happened to me might still be an understatement. I’m originally from the Twin Ports (Duluth, MN and Superior, WI) and started my journey at Lake Superior College with plans to enter healthcare. But, after a year of general studies and various volunteering opportunities, I discovered my true passion lay in business administration and office support. During an internship with a marketing and branding firm, I got my first real taste of administrative and event coordination. The fast-paced environment jived with my personality and work ethic, and I knew I was on the right path. In 2012, I earned an A.A.S. degree as an Administrative Office Specialist and immediately immersed myself in work and volunteer programs to gain hands-on experience. My entry into the construction industry came through a role with a commercial general contractor. That’s when my passion truly ignited— noticing how our work benefited the communities we serve, I was dedicated to learning all that I could to grow into new positions, support my team, and gain experience. I continue that passion with Architecture Advantage, where I’m proud to utilize the skills I have learned and acquired over the years to support and strengthen our company alongside a culture-driven and dedicated team.
