Storytelling has always been at the forefront of what I love to do, whether it was directing short plays with my sister when we were little, writing and producing them during my time at the University of Minnesota, or going behind the camera to capture my travels in adulthood. Now, in marketing, not only do I get to continue to tell stories, but I have the opportunity to connect with a larger audience. The data and analytics side caught me by surprise because math was never my strong suit. However, evaluating social media numbers and using the information to develop strategies and determine how to tell a story provides a unique challenge that I love taking on every day. I never imagined that I would end up applying my marketing background to the architecture and engineering industry, but it pushes me to think outside of the box and find new ways to put the pieces of the story together.
