Architecture Advantage is proud to celebrate a major professional milestone for Anna Ashton, who has officially passed her final Architect Registration Examination (ARE) and became a licensed architect.
Licensure represents years of education, hands-on experience, and dedication to the profession. By earning her license, Anna joins a select group of professionals entrusted to protect the health, safety, and welfare of the public through the practice of architecture.
“It’s been a long road to get to this point, and I’m grateful to reach this milestone,” Anna noted.
Anna joined Architecture Advantage in March 2025 as an Architectural Designer in our Duluth office. A graduate of North Dakota State University with a Master of Architecture degree, she brought a strong foundation in design, project coordination, and client-focused problem solving to the firm.
Since joining the team, Anna has quickly become an integral member of Architecture Advantage, immediately diving into projects and taking on increasing leadership responsibilities. She currently serves as project manager for the CHUM renovation and expansion project in Duluth and renovations at the Minnesota State Academies for the Deaf and Blind. Her ability to navigate complex challenges, champion collaboration, and adapt to evolving project needs has made her a trusted resource for clients, consultants, and colleagues alike.
For Anna, earning her license marks both the culmination of a significant professional goal and the beginning of a new chapter in her architectural career. As she continues to lead projects and serve clients throughout the region, licensure further strengthens her ability to guide project teams, advocate for client needs, and create spaces that positively impact the communities they serve.
Congratulations, Anna, on this well-deserved achievement. We are proud to celebrate this milestone and look forward to all that comes next.
